Around the World Project and Spin Tutorial

You are invited to paint along with my students by creating the same project that we will be working on  in the comfort of your own home or studio.

The workshop is from OCTOBER 7th, through the 11th.  I will be posting progression photos on The Silk Painter’s International Facebook group, as well as my personal page and the Karen Sistek Silk Artist page on Facebook. We invite you to also post your progression photos on your Facebook page and the SPIN Facebook page.

You do not HAVE to paint at exactly the same time as we do, you can paint at your own pace, and when time allows. You can paint in your own style… your own colors.. whatever you want. You can make changes to the pattern… We want you to put your OWN talents to work… and we are excited to see what you will create.

Links to the pattern and reference photos are below.  Click on the link to open the file and then right click and select “save as” to save the file to your computer.

SPIN live tutorial with Karen!

October 12th at 10 am PST.  Karen will be hosting the live tutorial from her own studio in Port Angeles, Washington!  She will be painting a gorgeous tulip. SPIN members can tune in to the SPIN Private Tutorial Page .   The tutorial will also be available to watch after the fact if you miss it.

I would love input to know what you might like for me to cover during my 30 minutes… that would help you while working on your project. I cannot promise to answer all of your questions, but it will help me to focus on what it important to you.

I want to make it clear, that I will answer questions about your project when time allows.. as my students with me during the workshop are my main focus.

So, grab your brushes, stretch your silk, dream of colors… Let the fun begin!
